Everyone makes mistakes, especially me! In the beginning of this video I explain the correct way to install rear coilovers on your BMW E90, E91, E92, or E93 3 series. This likely applies to certain 1 series models as well. I have seen multiple installation videos (including my own) where people to remove the stock rear spring perch, and install the coilover adjustable spring perch below the stock one! This will cause the new spring to sit incorrectly, potentially causing many issues down the line. Mine were incorrectly installed for 1 year and ~10k miles involving heavy canyon use and 1 track day. Nothing bad really seemed to happen to me thankfully.
