Amrullah Saleh, who recently declared himself as the caretaker President of Afghanistan, on Wednesday, reportedly carried out a military parade in Panjshir district to show resistance against the Taliban, which forcefully took over Afghanistan.

As per reports, Saleh asked Afghani embassies in other countries of the world to hold the national flag as he was the caretaker President.

Reportedly, forces loyal to Saleh recaptured the Charikar region of Parwan from the Taliban.

Afghan Embassy in Tajikistan removed Ashraf Ghani's picture, replaced with Amrullah Saleh after he declared himself as the caretaker president, when President Ghani left Afghanistan and declared his surrender to Taliban.
