Tuesday evening, August 10, 2021, thunderstorms were moving through Maryland. This location is just outside Chestertown, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This particular storm cell was severe warned before crossing the Chesapeake Bay. By the time it got to Chestertown, it had lost a lot of steam. I shot about 20 minutes of video. I edited it down to about 2-1/2 minutes, highlighting the more impressive activity. At the end, you can see the approaching rain, showing as a hazy shield in the sky. Soon after I stopped the video and packed up, the rain arrived.
