San Diego: Vegetation Fire Along the I-5 08132021

LOCATION: SB I-5 Plam Ave off-ramp

DETAILS:

A fire of unknown cause broke out along the right shoulder of the I-5 off-ramp in heavy brush. The fire also caught a tree on fire. Firefighters quickly put out the fire before it could spread further.
There is a large number of homeless encampments along this off-ramp. The CHP shut down the off-ramp for approx. 1 hour.
