This week I have a luxury designer hack to create your own crossbody strap as seen on the Kara Cobra Camera bag. I absolutely love how sparkly this piece is! You'll see just how easy it is to make your own custom statement bag! All you need are crystal trim and clasps. Once you attach the trim to the purse of your choice, you begin the pattern of folding and weaving. Keep going on a repeated pattern and make sure you're pulling tight, but not as stiff. The goal is to have all the sections look even. Once you reach the end, all you have to do is cut the remaining trim and use fabric glue to attach the ends that are left on the bag of the chain. The amazing thing about this strap is that it's removable so you can attach it to the purses of your choice. The final product is a GORGEOUS and removable crossbody strap! This DIY is $60 compared to $600 for the original purse and it looks just as good (if not better 😉)!
