This video explains all the necessary steps of how to come to the UK as a dependent. The new UK skilled worker visa route was introduced in 2021 and this is how to apply dependent visa for the UK. From this visa, you can bring your spouse and children to the UK as dependants.
There is 2 type of UK dependent visa routes. They are (1) student dependent visa UK and (2) skilled worker dependent and here we are talking about the UK dependent visa requirements.
You can apply for this UK spouse visa from anywhere in the world. So let us go and see how to apply for a UK visa from Sri Lanka and go to the UK. You can find the link to the documents in: https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children.
Documents Required:
Please go to 00:44
1. Passport
2. Marriage Certificate
3. Birth Certificate
3. Spouse Passport copy
4. Spouse Biometric Resident Permit copy
5. Letter from spouse workplace
6. Spouse 3-month payslips and bank statements.
The visa application fee for UK dependent visa is £464. You will also need to pay an immigration health surcharge fee of £624 per year. This is also a way to go to the UK without IELTS.
