Colder change on Tuesday but sub-tropical weather this weekend

A colder southerly is moving into the South Island on Tuesday and falls apart over the North Island on Wednesday ahead of high pressure moving in.

We also have a sub-tropical low developing this weekend which will pull down some rain into northern NZ with mild airflows.

Our forecast goes out to Saturday as we track more spring ups and downs.
