Moderna vaccines manufactured by Samsung Biologics may be supplied as early as October

"10월 중 삼성바이오 생산 모더나 백신 국내 공급될 듯"

South Korean pharmaceutical company, Samsung Biologics, is forecast to start supplying its manufactured Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to the nation as early as October.
While Moderna's COVID-19 vaccines manufactured overseas are approved... ones manufactured in the country will need separate permission for use by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
According to Kang Gi-yun, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, the approval process could be shortened to a week AND if the government and Moderna close additional deals soon... October is a possible timeline for supply to begin.
