
Tripura police urged people in the state to not believe in “fake news” after recent incident of vandalisation. As per reports, a mosque was vandalised in Chamtilla by a section of protesting Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) members. VHP organized a rally to protest against attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. VHP member claimed that people near the mosque raised pro-Pakistan slogans. Two shops were set on fire and three houses were ransacked in Rowa Bazar.
