Muscle tissue is a soft tissue which composes muscles in animal bodies. The cells of Muscle tissues are called myocytes. Each muscle is made of many long, cylindrical fibres arranged in parallel arrays. These fibres are composed of numerous fine fibrils, called myofibrils.
