Civil servants in Singapore will get a one-month year-end bonus in 2021 to recognise their hard work in the nation's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Mid-year and year-end bonuses were suspended last year due to the recession. This year, all civil servants will receive an Annual Variable Component of one month. Junior grade officers can also expect an additional one-time payment of $500. Together with the mid-year bonus, they will receive a total of 1.3 months in bonuses this year.
