Sean Spicer Makes A Complete Fool Of Himself On Social Media

Sean Spicer Makes A Complete Fool Of Himself On Social Media

Former Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer tried to land a zinger against President Biden on social media late last week, and it failed in a spectacular fashion - which is to be expected from someone like Spicer. Spicer posted a media clip of Biden saying that the budget bill would "transform America," prompting Spicer to ponder when anyone asked for the country to be transformed. Twitter users were quick to point out that he worked for a man whose slogan implied changing America, and Farron Cousins discusses this remarkable fail by Spicer.

Late last week, Sean Spicer the former press secretary for the Trump administration turned Newsmax host because nobody else wanted to hire him, uh, decided to get on Twitter. And he really thought really, really deep down thought he had a kick zinger against president Joe Biden. He, uh, tweeted out a screenshot that I believe was from CNN, maybe even from MSNBC, who knows, who cares, but the Kyron on the bottom of the screen said, Biden quote, this deal will truly transform America to which Sean Spicer added his own caption. What, when did anyone ask to transform America and immediately following his rhetorical question here, everyone who saw the post decided to go ahead and let him know who really decided to transform America. And it was in fact, the guy that Spicer worked for who ran on the slogan make America great again, which of course would imply some kind of transformation taking place.

And Sean Spicer didn't quite seem the same to see the irony in his statement. Here's the thing, Sean Spicer is a failure. Sean Spicer has always been a failure. That is why, as I said, after he left the Trump administration, the guy couldn't find work report after report came out saying that Spicer wants to go to this media network, Spicer put together a sizzle reel to try to get networks interested, including Fox news. Nobody wanted him, nobody wanted him. He ended up having to go do dancing with the stars, which is, you know, basically trying to rehab his whole image after his horrendous tenure as Donald Trump's press secretary. And then of course, once Newsmax really got up and running, they decided to throw him a bone and said, all right, Sean, go ahead, come on. We're the Trump apologists network. Anyway, so here you can have a job.

We'll be nice to you. And even then most people don't even realize that Sean Spicer currently has a television program that he hosts because nobody really cares about Sean Spicer, but the dude's still trying to remain relevant. And what I love about this story is how telling it is with the Republican strategy, right? They don't really have a whole lot to attack Joe Biden about, and I know I have not been exceptionally kind to him, either here or over at ring of fire for the last few weeks. I'm not happy with the way the, uh, budget bill has turned out. The build back better act scaled down to 1.7, 5 trillion down from 6 trillion, just six months ago. All the good provisions that actually would have helped American citizens have basically been stripped out of the bill, along with the tax on billionaires. And you can thank mansion cinema and of course, Pelosi for pulling that one out, but either way, Spicer's not attacking any of that.

Like there, there's plenty of legitimate reasons why Republicans could in fact attack Joe Biden, except they can't. Because the things that people are calling Biden out for are actually things that Republicans like. So how can you attack them on policy when he's not doing anything that actually you guys off? I know you still want to claim everything is socialism. Everything is communism. Everything is whatever ism of the day you can think of, but you have no real substance. So that's why Sean Spicer comes out with his idiotic tweet, like who asked to transform America? I don't know. Why don't you talk to the idiots, walking around with hats that say make America great again, because I'm pretty sure those were the people who tried to transform America, but unlike Biden, they didn't want to transform it for the better.
