Is Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos (known as Shadow Warriors 2 in Europe) the best game in the trilogy for the NES? Ninja Gaiden 2 returns with an even darker story than the first game. One year after the defeat of The Jaquio, a new villain, Ashtar, has risen to power. He wields the titular Dark Sword of Chaos, an evil sword fashioned from a demon's bone.
Using this twisted blade, Ashtar wishes to open the Gate of Darkness, and bring an end to all mankind. Can Ryu stop him?
