Concerns China will turn the Winter Games into 'some sort of diplomatic coup'

Sky News host Chris Kenny says there are concerns China will turn the Beijing Winter Games into “some sort of diplomatic coup, a bit of a soft power bonus”.

Mr Kenny spoke with Liberal Senator Eric Abetz about the issue.

“The brutality of this regime; its egregious human rights abuses are such that it was not deserving of holding the Olympic Games,” he said.
