Research Abstract:
Due to characteristic isotope variations of Sr in the lime and Nd in the silicate phase, the idea of using Sr and Nd isotope systems represents an innovative approach for cement provenancing. By combining these isotope systems, the 87Sr/86Sr and 143Nd /144Nd ratios allow cement samples to be clearly identified for the first time.
