India will not be placed on the United States' list of 'Countries of Particular Concern' or 'Special Watch list' this year for violations of religious freedom, said spokesperson Ned Price in a State Department briefing.

भारत में धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता को लेकर अमेरिका ने बड़ा बयान दिया है. अमेरिका ने साफ करते हुए कहा कि धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता के लिए भारत को इस साल 'अत्यंत चिंताजनक स्थिति वाले देश' या 'विशेष निगरानी सूची' में नहीं रखा जाएगा. जबकि चीन, पाकिस्तान और म्यांमार समेत 12 देशों को अमेरिका ने इस सूची में शामिल करने की घोषणा की है.
