Ah yes, the 1989 Toyota Corolla. The most interesting car in the world. Well, maybe not. It could be the most reliable car in the world though, who knows.
Why did we film a showcase of one of the most common cars in the world? Maybe it's more about a different perspective, we often overlook these cars as old and boring. Which it definitely is, but it does have some character.
Much like some men find their charisma with age, this Corolla has certainly done the same. This mundane and common little car is slowly becoming rarer and rarer, and it's cool to see a low-mileage example.
The 75 horsepower 1.3 liter powerhouse of the Corolla is enough to make two college students giggle, at least on a very steep downhill.
We're not sure why we think it's awesome, but we're sure it is.
