In this guitar lesson, I discuss some basic elements you need to understand in order to use scale diagrams effectively. This will help finally memorize all the positions of the guitar fretboard, so you can reach the level of freedom with your guitar solo improvisation.

I will talk about the root notes or scale tonic centers. About the different patterns on the fretboard. I will also mention the cases when a scale(s) has some unique or defining note(s).

Sorry about the delay to release this video, but I hope it answers all the questions came asking about the color code and about how to use the scale diagrams.

More future videos will discuss related topics, if you have any questions please write to me in the comments. I read them all and try to collect ideas about next videos. Enjoy.
