Pioneer Life (circa 1700's) First Fire in the Rumford Fireplace | Cabin Build

The search continues for the final rock to cap the chimney. Then in preparation for the first fire, Peter elevates trees over the chimney (using modern safety equipment) He spends the following morning in the blacksmith shop making fire place tools. The first of many fires is then lit in the fireplace.
