WHEN GOD DOESN'T WANT YOU WITH SOMEONE | THESE THINGS WILL HAPPEN!

God is interested in every area of our lives. He is not only interested in our spiritual lives but our finances, health, and relationship. Like every good parent, God wants the best for us and he had the advantage of being omniscient, so he knows what is best for us and instructs us so that in obeying him we may receive it. Jer. 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
God's thoughts towards your relationships are of good and not evil, so you should know that once God is giving you signs not to be with someone it is for a good reason. God has a good plan in his mind for you and an expected end for every area of your life. You may not always be aware of the reason but you should trust that God has your best interest at heart and swiftly obey him. Obeying God in your relationships would save you from a world of hurt but before you can obey Him, you have to first discern what God Is saying to you. This is why the topic we would be discussing today is Signs you will see when God does not want you with someone. Today's video would help you know if God does not want you with a person. Sit back and learn.

This is one constant truth our relationships can make or mar us. Even friendships can determine a lot of things in our lives. We have heard this saying so many times Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are. The Bible says we should guard our hearts with all diligence because out of it flows the issues of life. Your heart affects your life and your relationship affects your heart, automatically your relationship affects your life. This is why it is wise to be sure of the relationship you are entering into. Ammon the son of David was destroyed by the wrong friendship, he took the advice of a bad friend and it made him do the wrong thing. Amnon who was in love with his sister Tamar, was upset because he did not know how to fulfill his love for her, a friend of his Jonadab took it upon himself to advise Amnon and told him to pretend to be sick to get an opportunity to rape Tamar. Amnon followed this advice and it later led to his death at the hands of Absalom. Imagine how things would have gone if Amnon had a better friend who advised him to marry her. Tamar lost her virginity due to her relationship with her brother Ammon ( 2 Samuel 13: 1-20). Another example is that of Dinah the daughter of Jacob, her friendship with the maidens in the land led her to meet a prince who raped her. (Genesis 34)
The wrong kind of relationship can practically destroy lives. One way to be sure of your relationship is by paying attention to the signs that God does not want you in a relationship. These signs would allow you to discern if the mind of God is not for that relationship.
Signs God does not want you in a relationship.
God may show you various signs when he does not want you entering or staying in a relationship. We would be discussing a few of those signs in this video:
• Open eyes to character weakness: There is this popular saying that love is blind. The history of this saying is from ancient Greek mythology. However, we may find a bit of truth in it even now. I would not say that Love is blind, however, emotions may make you blind to the other person's fault. Love is more than just emotions. One way God may show you, you are not to be with someone is by opening your eyes to see the character weakness’ of that person. You will begin to see traits that may grow to affect your relationship terribly in the future. It may be destructive anger, stubbornness, or lack of respect for the opinion of others. Things that you have ignored or buried for so long will begin to come out to the surface. An example may be a character trait that you can not endure may become the person’s modus operandi. At this point, you may feel overwhelmed, frustrated or irritated. If it is a relationship where you have put in so much emotional investment you may be tempted to ignore it especially if you have a soft heart and if you tend to consistently make excuses for people. Please do not ignore it! Pastor Laju Iren has a quote that is applicable here; Marriage is the time to love blindly but courtship is the time to love intelligently. There are some things which should not be ignored.
