Teacher Gets Huge Gift To Help Make Kids’ Dreams Become a Reality

Ellen first met Darrell Watson 15 years ago as the band teacher at Ballou High School in Washington, D.C. After a few more appearances throughout the years, he’s back on the show for one last time to share how his students have been coping during the pandemic, being part of Ellen’s “Lucky 13,” and his favorite memory from the show. Ellen also welcomed the founder of 1-800-GOT-JUNK, Brian Scudamore, who explained his Can You Imagine movement, which provides murals in schools for students to physically see their dreams in writing. Brian surprised Darrell by saying that not only will Ballou High School be the location of their next mural but presented him with a check of $100,000 for the school!
