Businesses can prepare themselves for re-opening

Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong put forth a roadmap for businesses to operate in an endemic state.

He noted that Singapore will be in a much stronger position to ease COVID-19 measures as our vaccination coverage increases.

Efforts that businesses can undertake include encouraging all medically-eligible employees to get vaccinated, and integrating antigen rapid test (ART) self tests into work processes.

Employers should also encourage workers to self-isolate and get tested if unwell.

Minister Gan Kim Yong delivered a Ministerial Statement in Parliament on 26 July 2021.
