Australia 'is friends with the French' but must also 'act in its own interests'

Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says Australia is "friends" with the French, but "we have to act in our own particular interests."

Mr Hardgrave discussed the recent Australian government decision to tear up the French submarine contract and the fallout seen as a result.

"This will pass," Mr Hardgrave told Sky News host Paul Murray.
