ENGLISH TEA TIME WITH A GERMAN TWIST: How we learned to make tea the British way// Hello everyone, We often get request from you if we could show how we prepare our tea so today we thought it would be nice to have an English tea time. We included a bit of a German twist so we're having an English tea with with a German cake which is perfect for autumn. It's a gluten free apple bundt cake with cinnamon and almonds, really easy to make and very very tasty. Jörg and I also share our favourite teas and some tips on how to make it taste the best way possible. RECIPE APPLE BUNDT CAKE WITH CINNAMON & ALMONDS:

Ingredients
200g self-raising gluten free flour (or regular flour)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon zest
a few drops of vanilla bean extract (or Vanillinzucker)
a pinch of salt
3 eggs
180g sugar
200g soft butter
2 apples
100g ground almonds
icing sugar

Method
Beat the soft butter until it's fluffy, then add the sugar and the vanilla bean extract. Beat for about 3 minutes.
Add one egg and beat for another 3 minutes and do the same with the other eggs.
Add the almonds, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and lemon zest. Peel and grate the apples and add to the batter.
Grease your bundt pan and add some flour to make sure your cake doesn't stick.
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Fill the batter into the bundt pan and bake the cake for about 50-60 minutes.
Sprinkle with some icing sugar when cold. Enjoy!
