Trading at our two most recent fairs with our handmade soaps: The good, the bad & how much we earned

We are back! After a couple of weeks away due to far too much work to even be able to contemplate video making, we have finally got on top of things (for now!)

Our absence on here was caused largely by us having two four day long events within a week of each other, so we have hardly been at home during the last two weeks. We therefore thought it would be nice to show you all in today's video exactly what it was that was keeping us from being on here!

As it happens, the two events we have just traded at couldn't really demonstrate any more perfectly just how different events can be. We really will be taking you on a rollercoaster of the highs and the lows today!

We will show you footage of both of the fairs we attended and chat through what the days were like, how well we did and we will even be discussing how much money we took and how much profit we made. This isn't something we often talk about, but I thought it was important to highlight it in today's video, seeing as fate has dealt us such extremes of good and bad in the last two weeks (right down to the weather!)

I do mention in the video that one of the fairs did not go well for us. I just want to make it clear that the event itself was not in any way at fault for this. It is a lovely event that the organisers clearly worked amazingly hard on. I know other traders did well at this event, but it just didn't work for us. That is in no way down to anything the organisers did, it just so happens that this wasn't quite the right event for us and our products!
